Steve Robblee and his team gathered together with other stars of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series in Concord, North Carolina this past Friday night to be recognized for their accomplishments this past season.

The Awards Banquet culminated nearly a week of activities and celebration for the participants in the hub of NASCAR racing at the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Awards Banquet in the Embassy Suites and Concord Convention Center.

The #28 ABBY Motorsports team were Delaware Speedway Champions, Provincial Champions, Canadian Champions and were ranked 5th in the National Championship.

Also honoured Friday were all 58 NASCAR Whelen All-American track champions as well as the NASCAR Whelen All-American U.S. State and Canadian Province champions.

Steve along with Philip Morris, Keith Rocco, Nick Joanides and Bill Leighton Jr. where invited to the Toyota All Star Showdown in Irvindale, CA (Jan. 29-30, 2010) where they will be guaranteed starters.

During the week, tours of several nearby race shops for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series teams were organized for those attending along with racing seminars and keynote speakers including Mike Joy. "It was a great time for the team" said Steve. "It was a nice way to thank them for the many hours of hard work they put in this season. We had some tours of race shops for the Sprint Cup and visited Lowe�s Motor Speedway and then this great night here that NASCAR put on really shows how important the Whelen All-American Series is for NASCAR."
