How did you first get into racing? My Dad took me to the races at Pinecrest Speedway when I was around 7 or 8 years old. He raced a street stock there just a year or two. I was hooked! I then started going to watch races at Cayuga, then Delaware. He also took me to a NASCAR race in Charlotte when I was 10 or 12. From that moment on all I wanted to do was drive a race car. In around 1991 a couple of buddies that I worked with said they would help me if I got a car, so I bought an old street stock and away we went. What's your biggest challenge? Trying to make a living for my business partner and me through RKR Motorsports, instead of having a real job!!
Who's your hero? Growing up it was Jr. Hanley and Richard Petty. Now a days it seems to by anyone who can balance this busy life and continue doing what you love to do, whatever it maybe.
What's your favourite movie? Westerns
Who's your favourite band or singer? Wow, as a truck driver for many years, I have lots of favourites
What's your idea of a perfect vacation? Camping somewhere warm with my wife and kids, with campfires, BBQ and just hanging out relaxing. When I say camping I do mean in a RV!
PC or Mac? Whatever my wife uses.
Hamburger or hot dog? Both are good! Hamburger.
What's on the top of your "bucket list"? Right now it is getting a pool for the kids to play in, and getting some landscaping done around the house. Later I would like to have a shop at home and build a cool Rot Rod with my boys.
If you could be anyone else for a day, who would it be? The world's greatest Dad and husband.
When you're not involved with racing, how do you like to spend your free time? Not much free time with a young family, both parents working and trying to race. But I do enjoy 4-wheeling with my crew chief and a couple of buddies.
