Kids Bike Giveaway This Weekend! September 24, 2009 John Houghton Delaware Speedway PR McCullough Motorsports is a busy team at Delaware Speedway, fielding a pair of Transmission Direct Enduro cars and a POWERADE Open-Wheel Modified in the Nascar Whelen All-American Series McCullough Motorsports will be giving away a kids bike and helmet at this weekend’s Transmission Direct Enduro Nationals presented by Demar Aggregates. McCullough Motorsports is made up of two brothers racing for the championship in the Transmission Direct Enduro, David McCullough (#39) and Derek “Pitbull” McCullough (#38). Both drivers are in strong contention to earn the championship this weekend, but will have stiff competition with Dave Goertz (#15) of Arkona leading the points. Goertz holds the lead narrowly by four-points over the older McCullough brother, David (#39). David’s younger brother, Derek (#38), sits in third just twenty-three points back from the lead. The bike is presented in association with sponsorship partners of McCullough Motorsports in Glencoe, Hosie D's Donuts, Ross Welding, Hay Makers Maple Lane Farms, and Embassy Restaurant as well as Oke's Auto of Alvinston and Hardy Service of Mt. Brydges. All children are automatically entered into the bike draw when they enter their facility by picking up their children’s admission ticket. Children aged twelve and under are free to all Delaware Speedway events. The draw itself will take place just before the Ultimate Sandblasting & Coating Chaos Cars “Texas Turnaround” event, following the Transmission Direct Enduro heat races. The winner of the bike draw will come to the front straight and have their photo taken with the McCullough brothers before they head back to the infield to get ready for their 200-lap championship finale. The Transmission Direct Enduro Nationals presented by Demar Aggregates is the final racing event of the 2009 season at Delaware Speedway. Gates open at 1:00 pm, racing begins at 2:00 pm.
