Joining APC as the title sponsor for the 2009 edition of the event will be TOTAL Lubricants.
The race, which will be promoted as the TOTAL / APC 300, is the largest Late Model event of the season at Delaware Speedway and will feature great NASCAR Whelen All American Series drivers such as Ron Sheridan, Steve Robblee, Jesse Kennedy, Mark Watson and Jamie Ramsay behind the wheel of the #22 TOTAL Lubricants machine, as well as a compliment of “out of town” competitors who will make the trip to Delaware Speedway in search of a win in the Labour Day weekend classic.
“APC is once again proud to be associated with Delaware speedway and the Great Canadian Race. We believe that the Great Canadian Race continues to be the toughest event to win and brings out the best drivers from all over the province.” said Luke Ramsay from APC. “APC is also proud to be partnered with Total Lubricants in the sponsorship of this event. Total has proven to be a great partner in all aspects, and with their help this event is once again possible”.
“This will be one of the longest and most gruelling Late Model events in the province this year which makes it really special for the driver who wins the race and the cash on Sunday afternoon.” said Delaware Speedway Race Director Jeff Wilcox. “We’re happy to have APC back as the title sponsor for the event and to see them team up with a company like Total Lubricants just goes to show the significance of this race.”
The TOTAL APC 300 will take place on Sunday September 6, 2009 with spectator gates opening at 11:00am and racing beginning at 2:00pm. Advanced earlybird tickets will be available shortly through www.delawarespeedway.com.
