Randy LaJoie Safety Equipment Now Available in Ontario

Safety Crew leader Bob Nenicka has always been on the forefront of improving driver safety through intensive safety crew training sessions.  This season, with the insight that “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”, Nenicka aims to give drivers access to in-car modern safety technology that has previously been difficult to order.

 

Nenicka has become a dealer for Randy LaJoie racing seats.  Previously, the only other dealer in Canada was in Quebec.

 

“I started this because most people don’t even know that this type of seat is available,” said Nenicka.  “We know these seats have the capability prevent injury and save lives when properly used.  I want to make this technology available to the drivers at Delaware to give them more options when choosing a seat.”

 

Nenicka has arranged for a special random draw at the year end banquet.  A late model driver will be receiving a “Saturday Night Special” package valued at $2200, and each other weekly division (Peterbilt Super Stock, Challenger Motor Freight Truck, and POWERADE Open Wheel Modified) will have a random draw for a “Safer System” bolt on kit valued at $525.  The total value of this program is $3775 in additional prizes for Delaware Speedway regulars at the banquet.

 

“The goal of this is to increase safety across all divisions,” added Nenicka.  “We will have these items available on Friday night for inspection by drivers so that they will not only know what is being offered at the banquet, but will also get a chance to inspect the product itself.”
