Delaware Speedway would like to thank all the competitors who handed in rule proposals in writing or contacted the speedway after the initial release of the 2008 rulebook.

 

The 14-day time limit was placed for competitors was so everyone knew within 2 weeks what the division and car rules would be for 2008.  Anything on-track/racing operations changes or decisions to be made can be discussed at our January meeting.

 

Some minor revisions have been made to the Late Model, Super Stock & Enduro rulebooks.  These updates have been highlighted in green for easy reference.

Some notes about the rules:

 

- Late Models with ABC Bodies must conform to the ABC Body templates and body dimensions (templates will be used in '08) ABC Body rulebooks are available from any ABC Approved body retailer.

- To clarify regarding Enduro: Delaware Speedway WILL NOT be putting VEHICLES on the track before a race as obstacles.  As far as any changes that may happen with the race program, they can be discussed in the January meeting.

- With scheduling this year, the speedway was unable to have a December meeting. The meeting will instead take place in early January 2008, date & location to be announced.  Keep an eye on the website for updates.
