2008 Tentative Rules Packages Announced

Delaware Speedway is pleased to release the 2008 Rules Package for this coming race season.  When reviewing the packages there are a few exciting notes to keep in mind:

- Next season will see the introduction of a group of 4-Cylinder type vehicles known as the “Ultimate Sandblasting and Coating Chaos Cars”.  Events that Chaos cars compete in will be uniquely formatted and are centred on having fun in a controlled, low-cost environment.  The Chaos Cars will be running approximately six events in 2008 spread throughout the season.  For more information on participating in the new Chaos Cars series, e-mail [email protected].

- Also note, a rules package for Four Cylinder Invitational Races will be released shortly.  These invitational race events will likely take place before selected Transmission Direct Enduro events in 2008.

- The APC Late Model rulebook is currently open to possible adjustments pending upcoming speedway meetings on encouraging inter-track competition.  Keep an eye for additional updates on this rules package.

- For the existing divisions (Late Model, Modified, Truck, Super Stock, Enduro), rule changes have been highlighted in yellow.  Competitors are encouraged to carefully review the rules packages.

- All rules are tentative and will be open to consultation for 14 days.  After 14 days the rulebooks will be considered final.
